Talking about Terrorism
Recent events in Manchester and London have caused concern for many people and can be a difficult issue to discuss. The NSPCC has issued advice to help parents talk to their children worried about such incidents. ‘Talking about terrorism: Tips for Parents!’
We are looking for Parent Governors. Could it be you? Check out our flyer.
Netherton Moss is governed by a mixed group of people who get together and make decisions for the school and the children. This group needs diversity so that ideas and thoughts come from different sources and angles. We believe that the parent’s view is of real importance to our work and the school can’t grow successfully unless we have people willing to be part of the governing body.
The governing body is made up of 12 people, 4 of whom are parents. We need volunteers to take up this position and help us do the right thing for the children in our care.
There is one meeting per term for the Full Governing Body, although you may be asked to attend 1 or 2 meetings to discuss specific matters such as the curriculum or finance. We would love to hear from you.
