Our friends from St Oswald’s Church in Netherton joined us this week to share with the children the the Easter Story. Each class was able to participate in a series of workshops and activities that helped them to understand the significant moments of the Easter and learn how these key events have shaped Christianity. The Year 6 helped to prepare and serve the visitors their lunch. We re very grateful to St Oswald’s for all the time and effort they go to in preparing the activities and artefacts that help bring the stories to life and illustrate the significance of these events for Christians. Year 1 and 2 will be visiting the church itself in the Summer Term as they explore different places of worship.
