Children who are NOT accessing emergency places, your child's work pack will be ready to collect tomorrow morning from 9:00 - 9:30 from the Nursery door. Any packs to be collected after this time will need to be collected from the office. In your packs there are a number of different activities, take your time and just do little bits as and when you can. You can revisit the activities as much as you want as children at this age learn by revisiting things over and over.
I will be posting different activities on this page and our class page on the school website, they will the same on both pages so you just access which either one is easiest for you. I am fully aware that if you have older children their work needs will be your priority, the activities are just suggestions and ideas on what to do. Please remember that children at this age learn best through play, so when they are paying with their toys they are still learning.
I have attached a suggested timetable to help keep a routine for you and your children. Please note this is just a suggestion not compulsory, you do what's best for you and your family. I understand that this is a very difficult time and you have to do what you need to, to get through this. If you need a break or some quiet time, it is ok to allow your child to go on their iPad or watch television. Look for apps which are educational and Cbeebies is a great educational channel for your child to watch.
I am here if anyone needs any support or has any questions. You can contact by messaging on here, emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring the office and I will get back to you as soon as I can. We can do this together.
Marigold Children are very busy at this time of the year preparing for all of our exciting activities.
Ready for Christmas Breakfast
Making our very own tree decorations, Christmas cards and magical reindeer dust to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve. Santa even sent one of his elves to check all the children were on the good list.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄
To celebrate ‘Remembrance Day’ we made poppies and a wreath. We sat in silence for 2 minutes to remember all the soldiers who went to war.
The children painted some different coloured fireworks and decorated rockets ready for Bonfire Night.
We all dressed up in our scary costumes, made wands, a potion and even cast a magic spell.
The Children are very excited to go on a Bear Hunt!
