Our topic this half term is Toys. For homework we have been designing and making some toys of our own. Some children have worked really hard and produced some fantastic toys and brought them in to show the rest of the class. We even had a go at playing some of their board games!

We were visited by a Science Boffin and took part in lots of exciting experiments and a workshop. During our workshop we learned all about plants. We found out how roots take in water and about the life cycle of a plant. We also discovered how bees pollinate flowers. We had great fun!
We had some fantastic entries for our Easter Hat Competition and it was so hard for our School Councillors to choose a winner! Thank you for all your help in creating such wonderful head pieces, the children had great fun showing them off.

We had a fantastic time on our school trip to Chester Zoo. We saw lots of wonderful animals and even listened to a special zoo keeper talk about elephants. We had great fun and learnt a lot! There were some very tired little people at the end of the day, and that was just the teachers!
We had great fun on World Book Day this year coming dressed as our favourite book characters. Check out our fabulous costumes above!
